SINAPIS OPTHALMOLOGY CENTER

The design of the Sinapis Eye Institute in Athens reflects clarity, precision, and trust — the very values associated with eye care. The project integrates two complementary functions: a state-of-the-art ophthalmology center and a contemporary optical store.

The ground floor accommodates medical examination and consultation rooms, alongside a dedicated optical retail space directly connected to the clinic. The store is designed with warm textures, refined details, and a boutique atmosphere that enhances the retail experience, highlighting eyewear as both a medical necessity and a lifestyle accessory.

On the upper floor, the surgical theater and support facilities are organized with strict functional clarity, ensuring efficiency, hygiene, and discretion. Natural tones, controlled lighting, and a minimal material palette reinforce a sense of calm and reassurance for patients.

The public areas of the institute are defined by sculptural wall surfaces, custom furniture, and integrated lighting, creating a balanced environment that is both professional and welcoming. The result is a cohesive architectural identity that supports the dual character of the project: medical excellence and elevated retail experience.
